Do you plan to play volleyball next year?
Potentially, I am still keeping my doors open. I will have to decide in the next month here. I enjoy sand volleyball a lot and I am hoping to get into that again this summer and I'm doing a couple rec leagues this winter with some girls on the team (Madison College).
What is your favorite activity outside of volleyball?
Spending time with my family, my nephew and friends. I'm still pretty active outside of volleyball, so my time usually revolves around being outdoors doing some type of active activity. I enjoy design too, so I read a lot of design books, art books and blogs.
What are you studying at Madison College?
Fashion Marketing and Recreation Management.
Where do you see yourself five years from now?
I hope to be working and starting a family, living in Madison or Chicago.
Who is your favorite athlete?
When I was younger it was definitely Michael Jordan. It was during his heyday when I was playing basketball. Other than that I would say Ron Santo of the Cubs (1960-1973) because I think he was just an all-around good guy and I love the stories I hear from my dad watching him and playing softball with him. I also like Gabrielle Reece, a sand volleyball player.
If you could sit front row at a live show or event, who would you go see?
A Cub's game, I love being able to interact with the players. Or a Coldplay concert or Fashion Week in New York.
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Reliable, trustworthy and spontaneous.
If you could get a $1,000 gift card to a store of your choosing, what store would you get it at?
If I wanted to splurge on one thing I'd probably get it at Saks Avenue or if I wanted to get a lot of things, I'd get it at H&M.
What website do you visit the most?
I read blogs a lot; Design Sponge is one of them.
What is one thing you want to learn before you leave Madison College?
How to serve people in recreation with disabilities.
