So, there's a little over two weeks left of the semester. Worried yet? Don't be. You still have two weeks, to review those 15 chapters for a comprehensive test, write that 10-page term paper and finish putting the polishing touches on your portfolio! Oh, don't forget about finding a job, either after graduation or for the summer.

There are many resources available to students, to help with the final freak-out. Need a quite place to study? There are always the MATC libraries. Downtown and Truax is open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and if you are so inclined, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The Fort Atkinson library is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.

Still need a quiet place to study after the MATC library is closed or more time to research that paper? MATC students are allowed access to the UW-Madison Memorial Library, which has extended hours before and during final's week. Starting Monday May 4 to Thursday May 14, the Memorial Library is open from 8 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. Students can get a library card for UW's libraries at the Truax campus library.

Need help polishing that paper? The Writing Center, located at Truax and Downtown, can help, but you better finish that first draft soon. The last day the center is open for the semester is Friday May 8.

Students can sign up for 30-minute time slot for their paper to be reviewed up to a week in advance. Students can call the centers to make an appointment. The phone number for Truax is 608-243-4289 and the number for Downtown is 608-258-2456.

Not able to make it into the Writing Center? There is also an online service available, where you can e-mail in your paper and have comments on how to improve it usually within 48 hours.

Graduating? Congratulations! Still looking for that job, degree related or not? Don't worry; MATC is well equipped to help with that as well. Advising and Career Resources (ACR) is available for alumni as well as current students. A quick place to start job hunting, for anyone is TechConnect, under the A to Z index on MATC's website. Graduates can sign up to have access to additional job listings through ACR.

Still need help? ACR has multiple workshops to help with the job hunt from resume reviews, to job hunting assistance. Another valuable resource is the Job Center of Wisconsin, https://jobcenterofwisconsin.com. A state resource, it has state-run job fairs, employment workshops, resume and cover letter workshops. With additional information for displaced workers and any job seeker.

Just take a deep breathe, get organized and work hard, you can finish strong.
