Free Tax Help
Jan. 2 through April 7 free tax services will be held in the Student Lounge, at MATC's Truax campus. This will occur every Tuesday from noon till 5p.m. If married and filing together, spouse must be present to sign tax return. There is no appointment necessary, students can call (608)246-6003 for more information. There will be no services March 17.
Dating Doctor
David Coleman will be on campus to prescribe you options for bettering your life and your relationships. This is taking place Feb. 11 at 11:30a.m. in the Truax Student Lounge.
Healthy Employees
Feb. 17, MATC will be working with employees by showing ways to increase overall well being. There will be things done by MATC to help the employees in their work environment.
Spring Transfer Fair
Feb. 24 MATC will be holding a transfer fair in the first floor hallways of MATC Truax.
Empty Bowls Event
This event, put on by MATC's Volunteer Center will be holding a fundraising lunch to raise money to help local food pantries fight hungry. There will be a $15.00 lunch that will include a bowl of soup and bread in a hand-crafted ceramic bowl donated by local partners. All proceeds and donations go to fight hunger in the Madison area.
Poetry Slam
The MATC Poetry Slam will be on March 27, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and again at 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. Admission will be $1 for students and $2 for general admission. Interested in competing? Auditions will be held on Feb. 23 and Feb. 25 at 4p.m. till 6p.m. The other audition time will be Feb. 24 and Feb. 26 from 12:30 p.m. till 3:30 p.m.
