Santi White (a.k.a. Santagold) is often compared to M.I.A, though the two are rather different. Some songs, like "Creator", do sound a bit like M.I.A., but have their own unique flavor. This album has a good range of beats, fusing genres like ska and pop.

White is also a talented vocalist, as songs like "You'll Find a Way" and "Lights Out". The album also has a good amount of funky songs, like L.E.S. Artistes" and "Shove It". The songs are all unique and consistently excellent.

This album was released back in April. If you are not familiar with the artist, you've probably heard the music in advertisements.

Santogold is an excellent album. The songs are upbeat, well-written and memorable. This is definitely one of the best albums of 2008.
