(Tuesdays, 8 PM) is a creepy new Fox show from the creator of Lost. It stars Joshua Jackson and Australian beauty Anna Torv. Both actors are at the top of their game, as is creator J.J. Abrams. The show has been compared to other shows like The X-Files, and for good reason. The show is weird mix of conspiracy and all-things science fiction. Fringe is creepy, sexy and every episode will leave you wanting more.
Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles
Until Heroes returned on September 22, Monday nights belonged to the Terminator.
Season 2 picks up where the first season left us. John Connor (Thomas Dekker) is in love with a robot set out to help him save humanity. The robot is played by the beautiful Summer Glau, which most recall from the cult hit Firefly. Sarah Connor is played solidly by Lena Headey.
This show is all about time-travel, robots and the end of the world. The show is quickly paced and fun. Headey and Dekker play a good mother/son duo. The special effects are great and the plot is interesting enough to keep you watching weekly.
It's also of great pleasure to see Garbage singer Shirley Manson playing the villain. The shift from musician to actor can be quite disastrous. Our local rock hero doesn't disappoint, though. She puts forth just the right amount of acidity to make a villain worth hating. Ms. Manson apparently can do no wrong, nor can this show.
