Region IV Champions

The Madison Area Technical College women's basketball team had high expectations entering the NJCAA Region IV Women's Basketball Division III Tournament as the top seed. This was a team that finished the regular season 26-3 and dominated their new conference in nearly every game.But this is the postseason and the WolfPack knew they had to step it up a notch in order to reach the national tournament. The WolfPack received a first-round bye and the Lady Wolves of Joliet Junior College were the first opponent they were paired up against.

Support the dance team

The Madison Area Technical College dance team will be competing in the HYPE Spirit Madness Championship on Sunday, March 14. The competition will be held at Nicolet High School in Glendale, just outside of Milwaukee. The cost for the event is just $5 with a non-perishable canned good and $10 without a food donation.

An Olympic-sized benching in the NHL?

Could the NHL ask for anything more than what the Vancouver Olympics gave them? In a word, no. The gold medal match-up between Canada and the U.S. lived up to the hype, and was one of the best hockey games the Olympics had ever seen.

WolfPack men come up short in Region IV Tourney

The WolfPack had been holding their opponents to 29.7 percent shooting from 3-point range all season long. The Milwaukee Area Technical College Stormers, the 2-seed in the tournament, unexpectedly let it rain 3-pointers all day in the rubber match against the WolfPack in Joliet, Ill.
