Men, women teams end season with wins

By Matt Daniels

There was a battle on the court between the Madison Area Technical College men and the College of DuPage Chaparrals in the final game held in the H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium during Jam the Gym. A higher seed in the Region IV tournament was on the line and neither team was going to go down without a fight. The WolfPack (16-12 overall, 7-7 N4C) came out on top 88-83 and wrapped up the No. 3 seed for the tournament. There were eight lead changes and five ties in the first half alone. At halftime, the two teams broke even, tied 46-46 after Bobby Komorowski hit a pair of free throws for the WolfPack with 13 seconds left in the half.
