Super Bowl XLIV Prediction - Matt Daniels

By Matt Daniels

We all know what happened the last time the Super Bowl was held in Miami. The Indianapolis Colts defeated the Chicago Bears 29-17 and Peyton Manning was named MVP of the game. The end result of Super Bowl XLIV will be the same as the last time the Colts played in Miami for the title. Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison currently hold the record for most receptions (953) and touchdown receptions (112) between a quarterback and wide receiver. Harrison was released before the start of the 2009 season. Wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez was poised to fill the void left by Harrison, but he went down with a season ending knee injury in Week 1. Former Head Coach Tony Dungy retired at the end of last season, and yet Manning still put up one of his best seasons statistically.
